Hello there!

Welcome to Theatre Hipparchus. My website is devoted to Astronomy, namely images of deep space objects and the equipment used in their capture.  This is a brand new adventure so I have tried to write articles outlining my trials and tribulations along the way. I never thought I would be describing myself on my own Astro imaging website.

It is so nice to have a something engaging like this in your life that challenges and thrills you at the same time. For those starting out in a pastime like this, let's just say our failures frame our successes!

We live just outside of a picturesque little community Peterborough, ninety miles northeast of Toronto, Ontario Canada. I have 18 years in as a Corporate and Government Bond broker for CIBC World Markets. We have a wonderful group of people at the office and it's work that I like doing.

In our free time we enjoy working on home renovation projects (including my observatory) and look forward to travelling when we can. I like all sports and play golf in a league during the summer. Love both Canadian and US College football.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who participates on the Astronomy forums at Yahoo. The senior imagers there have been lavish with their praise and share knowledge wholeheartedly. I hope to get good enough one day to do the same.
